Once the child has been working with the insets for design and is seen to have good pencil control, he can be introduced to writing. It is important at this stage to introduce the child to a writing table where he can go to practice his writing skills. PURPOSE OF WRITING The purpose of writing is to enable the child to transfer the skills learnt with the insets for design and the sandpaper letters to writing with a variety of writing tools on different surfaces. |
